The role
Heading up our work in Honduras, you’ll design and deliver a range of long-term development programmes that are expected to make a positive difference to the lives of people across the region– You’ll develop networks with national and international agencies, government entities, social movements – in a bid to influence high profile relationships (both in country and globally). We need someone who can make informed decisions as an exceptional leader, understanding the political, economic and social trends in countries with high levels of poverty, inequalities and exclusion. Someone with skills to manage situations of political crisis. Experience in working with NGOs and government institutions is important. From a practical standpoint, you must be adept at managing budgets, but just as importantly, you’ll know how to build your own leadership team and get the most out of people at every level. Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish is essential for this role.( and ideally another language from the LAC region)
